Booking apps
In a salon suite building every pro books on their own app: GlossGenius in one suite, Vagaro in the next, Square across the hall. Your Next Chair reads each pro's own calendar and shows the whole building's openings in one place. Nobody switches apps. Bookings stay on each pro's page.
How each app connects
One calendar link from GlossGenius settings. We also read the pro's public service menu each night (names, times and, where the building shows them, prices), so an opening only appears when the service fits.
Square syncs to Google Calendar; the pro shares that calendar's private address.
Vagaro syncs to Google Calendar; the pro shares that calendar's private address.
Booksy syncs to Google Calendar; the pro shares that calendar's private address.
Connects directly with the calendar's private address.
Listed with their hours and a Book button that goes wherever they take bookings.
Each pro gets a personal connect link: no login, no app to install. The connect page shows the exact taps for their app.
Why pros say yes
Questions
Yes. Your Next Chair reads each pro's own booking calendar, whether they use GlossGenius, Square, Vagaro, Booksy or Google Calendar, and shows the whole building's openings on one live page, a lobby screen and an AI phone line. Nobody switches apps.
No. Each pro keeps the app they already use and pastes one calendar link, which takes about two minutes from their phone. Bookings still happen on their own booking page.
Busy and free times only. Client names, services, notes and addresses are discarded the moment the feed is read and never stored. We never write to a pro's calendar.
We check every connected calendar every minute. How quickly a new booking shows depends on how often the pro's app updates its calendar feed, and the exact time is always confirmed on the pro's own booking page, so nobody gets double-booked.
They still appear with their posted hours and a Book button that goes to their booking page or Instagram. They just don't show live openings.
Any time, in one tap. Their link and everything read from it are deleted.
